Precision Manufacturing
Every glass reactor is individually assembled, inspected, and vacuum-tested before shipment. We maintain strict dimensional tolerances and surface finish standards across all production batches.
Material Integrity
We use only certified G3.3 borosilicate glass with full material traceability. All PTFE components are virgin-grade for maximum chemical resistance. No recycled or substandard materials.
Customer Partnership
From initial design consultation through after-sales technical support, we work as your laboratory equipment partner. Our engineering team provides configuration recommendations based on your specific application requirements.
FAQs
What is the MOQ for Unionclay glass reactors?
For standard SFS series reactors, we accept single-unit orders for evaluation and testing. For bulk orders, pricing is quoted based on quantity. There is no strict minimum order quantity for most standard models.
How long is the production lead time?
Standard configuration: 7-15 working days. Custom configurations (explosion-proof, special port arrangements, custom dimensions): 15-25 working days. Rush orders may be accommodated – contact us for availability.
What glass material do you use?
All our reactor vessels are manufactured from G3.3 high borosilicate glass (compliant with ISO 3585). This material offers excellent thermal shock resistance, chemical durability, and a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3 x 10^-6/K), making it ideal for laboratory applications from -80 C to 300 C.
What sealing technology do you use for the stirrer?
We use a proprietary PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) bearing combined with a Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring dual-seal system. This provides reliable vacuum performance down to -0.095 MPa and excellent chemical resistance. The seal assembly is designed for long service life with minimal maintenance.
Can I order a customized glass reactor?
Yes. We offer full customization including: custom port sizes and arrangements (number, position, joint type), explosion-proof motor and controller configurations, custom vessel dimensions, special frame/stand requirements, custom voltage (110V/220V/380V), and specialized accessories. Contact our engineering team with your specifications.
What is the working temperature range?
The G3.3 borosilicate glass vessel can operate from -80 C to 300 C, depending on the circulating medium used in the jacket. For heating applications: water (up to 100 C), silicone oil (up to 300 C). For cooling: ethanol or specialized cooling fluids (down to -80 C).
Can the reactor operate under vacuum?
Yes. All SFS series reactors are designed for vacuum operation with a rated ultimate vacuum of -0.095 MPa. The PTFE + Viton seal system and ground glass joints ensure reliable vacuum integrity during distillation, evaporation, and other vacuum processes.
Is explosion-proof configuration available?
Yes. Explosion-proof motor and controller configurations are available for all SFS models from 5L and above. This includes ATEX-compliant or equivalent explosion-proof motors and sealed electrical enclosures suitable for use with flammable solvents and volatile compounds.
What accessories are included with each reactor?
Each SFS reactor includes: constant pressure funnel (with matching ground joint), condenser, stirring assembly with PTFE blades, thermometer sleeve, PTFE discharge valve assembly, frame stand (base plate type for 1-3L, frame type for 5L+), and digital display controller (RPM only for 1-5L, RPM+Temperature dual display for 10L+).
How do you ship glass reactors internationally?
All glass components are individually wrapped in foam padding and packed in reinforced wooden export crates. We ship via: Air freight (fastest, 5-10 days), Sea freight (most economical for bulk orders, 20-35 days), Rail freight (balance of speed and cost, 15-25 days to Europe). Door-to-door delivery available through DHL, FedEx, UPS or freight forwarders.
What payment terms do you accept?
We accept T/T (bank wire transfer) with 30% deposit to start production and 70% balance before shipment. L/C (Letter of Credit) available for larger orders. For long-term clients, flexible payment arrangements can be discussed. Contact us for terms specific to your order.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we provide a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Glass components are
individually inspected before shipment. Replacement parts and spare glassware are available for purchase. We also provide technical support via email, phone, and WhatsApp throughout the product lifetime.
Can you provide custom documentation?
Yes. We can provide: Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), CE certification documentation, ISO 9001 certificate copies, and product test reports. Custom documentation packages available for your import/customs requirements.
Do you offer OEM/private label services?
Yes. We offer OEM manufacturing where we produce reactors with your brand name, logo, and custom labeling. Options include: custom nameplates, branded documentation, custom packaging with your company identity, and private label certification documentation. Contact us to discuss your OEM requirements.
How do I get a quotation?
Contact us via email, WhatsApp, or the inquiry form on our Contact page with the following information: desired model and capacity, quantity required, any customization requirements (port configuration, explosion-proof, etc.), your shipping destination, and your preferred timeline. We respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
